标题: 问一个property tax的问题

我们是通过escrow account付tax,loan是BOA countrywide的，卖房给我们的builder的
银行也是BOA。最近builder发信给我们说他们的银行给我们把税付了，让我们直接还给
他们。从我们的escrow account看确实如此。可是如果我们直接付给builder,今年的税
表这一部分怎么办呢？这个问题怎么处理才对呢？谢谢！

精算工作到几岁可以拿到20-30万base？有中国人拿到吗？是不是考完试以后工作就很
relax了？

You can still deduct the property tax you paid. Check the county website and
you should see the payment records.

So you mean we can use the record on the county website for tax return? Our
bank said they only provide the form showing the amount that they paid.
Another question is that the builder gave us some tax credit at closing. If
the credit can cover the tax, we cannot claim it on our tax return, am I
right? Thanks a lot.

Go to see a local CPA and file your 2009 tax return next year. It only costs
you about $200. Then everything should be fine.

Agree. If you have the escrow closed in 2009, it may be better to find a CPA
. There are some tricy things you have to consider, such as property tax and
/or interest expense adjustments.
