我们本来计划一个小型的wedding~主要是学校的同学，导师和我工作的一些朋友~然后
配额是我和lg一人差不多25人~
后来lg这也觉得要请，那个也要请，把隔壁州的同学和实习的好友都叫上了~然后人数
就翻了番~飙升到100人了~
本来计划的reception dinner的人数就有点不够了~还好定的场地够大，还不至于要损
失掉定金重新换场地~
不过本来计划的小婚礼似乎要好好搞才好了要不成了骗礼品卡的局了~压力不小。而且
最近比较懒，工作上压力比较大，都有点想逃避掉这个了~
我们的rsvp的due date差不多是婚礼前的20day，然后我就要准备name card， table
card了，可能和花店还得商量下要多少table center piece~
觉得亚历山大~而且请的朋友感觉大多数都不会跳舞的，俺也不会。so现在努力学习ing
~有点小担心reception无聊~
最近陆续收到一切朋友不能来的回复，虽然不能看到我那天美美的样子稍有可惜，但是
心里小放下一个石头~这个news总比看到一个朋友要带2个adult guests好的多啊~
人数控制我算是control的不好了~还有点后悔当初我请的人不是那么的多~但是都这样
了。随便吧~希望那天顺顺利利了~

据澳大利亚《每日电讯报》8月10日报道，美国一网站的1754名用户从美国各种稀
奇古怪的地名中评选出“最尴尬倒霉地名排行榜”，位于阿肯色州的“蟾蜍吸吮镇”(
TOAD Suck)高居榜首。
据悉，“蟾蜍吸吮”这个名字可追溯到19世纪。当时阿肯色河上的汽船船员常到这
个小镇酗酒，喝得肚子像蟾蜍那样鼓起来，小镇因此得名。
佐治亚州的“高潮镇”(Climax)名列第二，俄勒冈州的“无聊镇”(Boring)列第三
。其它上榜的还有俄克拉荷马州的“妓女镇”(Hooker)、伊利诺伊州的“蟑螂镇”(
Roachtown)、加州的“拌嘴镇”(Squabbletown)以及肯塔基州的“猴子眉毛镇”(
Monkey"s Eyebrow)等。
网站发言人说：“如果举办最离奇地名奥林匹克大赛，美国肯定能夺得奖牌，即使
不是金牌。”(沈姝华)

我经过过一下有趣的地名，一时想不起来了。一次在South Dakota路过一个很有趣的，
慢慢想想。

In what has to be considered a major upset, the town of Toad Suck, Arkansas
has beat out Boring, Maryland for the title of “most embarrassing or
unfortunate” town name in the United States. The title was awarded by the
people behind the website findmypast.com, who conducted a survey in which
users could submit contending towns.
Boring, Maryland actually finished a disappointing third. Climax, Georgia
took second place. Rounding out the top five were the towns of Hooker,
Oklahoma and Assawoman, Virginia.
How could a town possibly have a worse name than Boring? It creates so many
funny names of places, like the Boring Post Office (a real place) and the
Boring Methodist Church (also real, and probably true). It also creates
unfortunate scenarios in the media, including tourist lists like “Top
Boring Attractions” and “Best Boring Restaurants.” Unless you live in
Everyone Who Lives Here Dies A Bloody Death, Wisconsin (note: not a real
town… yet), you really can’t do worse than Boring.
And what’s so bad about the name Toad Suck? Toads kind of do suck. They are
the lame version of frogs. Climax, Georgia is a ridiculous choice for No. 2
–that sounds like an awesome place to be.
