agree.
NYC is a popular place for young women in the whole world so the
competition among women is very strong and many New York male just
enjoy dating instead of committing.
LA is not an ideal place to look for "the one" neither but it would
be relatively easier to have a serious relationship there plus LA is
close to san jose/man jose.
I lived in California and live in NYC now.

LA不知道，但是在纽约单身女生找男友很难，尤其是30+。欲望都市里面说的都是真的

还是
穿着高跟皮靴/黑大衣坐地铁
加州地广人稀，去哪里都开车，LA的中国城分布在三个城市。四季如春，每天太阳晒着
人都放松。
男生以做技术为主
NYC这么紧凑，男生不是做金融就是做IT，有聚会就是clubing，冬天很冷啊。
如果让我选，我还是回LA!

既然能把范围放宽到白人，那在哪儿不都差不多吗？
我觉得把两个重要事情（工作和男人）放到一起考虑，还想最优化，那太复杂了。
LZ不如好好想想，究竟哪个对你来说更重要，着重精力先把一个解决了。
比如工作重要，那保证如意的工作，等待并创造身边的缘分。
或者男人重要，那先努力找男人，然后为了男人relocate咯。

NYC合适的男人不是结婚了就是有男朋友了，还是去LA吧。MAN JOSE也可以，不过
SFO的很多男生也都有男朋友。

Actually I consider myself lucky in some ways...
我实际上资质非常普通, 但是在职业上总的说来还算幸运, I got something I might
not really deserved.
For relationships, I met some interesting guys in the past, though things
didn't work out, those are still nice experience.
"Scars are just signs of interesting life".

工作 is not my first priority. For me, it's a just a way of making a living
and being independent.
I have a decent job right now, it's just in a place I don't really enjoy. I
am willing and going to take a pay cut to relocate. Thanks for your
suggestion though.

Just had my first ever LA date tonight in West Hollywood area...
The guy is very nice and funny, and we both enjoyed our 6-hour nonstop
conversation during the dinner and drink at W afterwards.
It's not a bad start to go back to the dating scene. Though I don't quite
feel the chemistry from my side, worst case, I may make a cool friend to
hang out with in LA area.....

你没看到LZ后面的帖子，她是放弃现在的好工作，为了去大城市好找对象而在LA和NY之
间选择一个less pay, less promising的工作，她自己说的。难道不杯具吗，30+了才
想起非得嫁人了，也开始牺牲事业了，而且只是换城市，连普都没有。换我，我会好好
思考一下，为啥人生走到30多了，才发现好像没走对。

The answer is, if I had my present job, plus these two offers at the time I
first entered the market, I would have definitely chosen either NY one or LA
one. I am always a city dweller for sure.....
What happened in the past is sunk-cost and irrelevant anymore. I don’t want
to look back, feeling regret and doing nothing. What I need is to do
something to change the present and the future.
