他站在drive way发呆（？），突然一大块石头从天而降掉在他面前不到一米的地方。
。。他继续发了会呆，估计是吓的，然后拣石头拍照etc。好像是这个stone chondrite
meteorites。正好有个同事ex做天文的，准备明天来看看。
有人拣过陨石没？

确定不是隔壁小孩扔过来的石头？如果真是陨石那他发大财了，据说每克比黄金还贵！

我也没拣过，现在见过了。。。我让他明天带一块（摔地上随成两半了）来放窗台上和
我养的几盆多肉植物作伴。。。
黑灰色，有点金属光泽

估计吓傻了，他说他站那里往天上看了好久，直到几个邻居都过来看他，就拣了石头进
屋了

还真不是，他看着从天而降的。我的第一反应和你一样，先问重量，咳。。
不过不很重，据说陨石一般含铁很多，不会很重，但他这个也没什么磁性，反正财是发
不了了。忘了问他要照片，现在找不到人了，看着像这个，很大。

A millennium-old swastika-bearing Buddhist statue, stolen from its home in
Tibet by the Nazis in 1938, was carved out of rock from outer space.
No, it's not the plot to a new Indiana Jones film – this statue, of the
Buddhist mythological figure Vaisravana, is real.
New research published in the journal Metoritics & Planetary Science reveals
the 24cm tall statue was carved out of a piece of the Chinga meteorite,
which fell to Earth more around 15,000 years ago.
Nicknamed 'Iron Man' for its high concentration of iron, the statue's
geochemistry has been matched with known fragments of the meteorite, which
landed near what is now the border between Russia and Mongolia.
"The 'Iron Man' statue is the only known illustration of a human figure to
be carved into a meteorite," says Elmar Buchner of the University of
Stuttgart, "which means we have nothing to compare it to when assessing
value".
He believes whoever carved the statue knew the rock was special, as it is
extremely hard and "an inappropriate material for producing sculptures".
In 1938, zoologist, ethnologist and suspected Nazi Party member Ernst
Schaefer led an expedition in Tibet to find the roots of Aryanism. The trip
was backed by Nazi chief Heinrich Himmler.
The statue's prominent swastika appealed to the Nazis, who took it back to
Germany. It later fell into the hands of a private owner. Scientists got
their first look at it in 2007.
It's not known exactly how old the statue is, but its style puts it between
the eighth and 11th centuries.

据说石头温度很高，在地上砸了一个坑。不过邻居好像都没见到，只看见我同事站在路
中间看天发呆觉得不对。。

succulent plants, 译的挺奇怪的，包括很多啦，都是比较肉质茎叶的，最常见的比
如仙人掌。
我从种子种了几个仙人掌，各种形状。还种了这个。。现在的新宠。我有绿色的那两种
，还有一个肉粉色一个南瓜色的。秋天该会开花的。
