12. I thought FileMaker Pro was going to be bundled with the iMac, but it
doesn't seem to be on the unit I just bought. Was this just a rumor that
turned out not to be true?
It was more than a rumor - at the May 6 announcement of the iMac, Steve
Jobs did list FileMaker Pro as one of the applications that would come with
the machine. But Apple obviously changed its mind, probably because
FileMaker Pro is more than many iMac users require, and because Apple's new
FileMaker Inc. spin-off would undo
