20. I see an infrared transceiver on the front of the iMac. What's that
good for?
We don't know anyone who's tested it yet, but in theory it should let you
exchange data with any other device that supports the IrDA (Infrared Data
Association) standard, including recent PowerBook models and the Newton
MessagePad 2000 and 2100 (the Newton Connection Utility lacks IrDA
support). You could also use IrDA to print to certain printers that have
IrDA ports, but you'd have to hold the printer on your lap
