头几年assistant professor，如果没课的时候，是否也要在办公室坐班呢？
如果家住的比较远，没课的时候可以work at home吗？现在网络很快，所有学校里能做
的工作，家里基本上也都能做
系里每年考核和最后评tenure的时候，是不是只看具体的成果呢？不会盯着每天上下班
和在办公室的时间吧？

offer怎么样了，他们给我留言说希望我能push it back，结果我傻呼呼告诉人家说我
已经签了，但是还没收到对方的countersi

正在学校office，有人帮忙填8833，我们international office director非常明确说
treaty只是从第一次到美国后的三年，这里大家说的好像都是36个月。对一般一直在美
国的人其实没区别，但对我这种回去过一年再来的差别就大了。我看了irs的article
19 确实说的是3年啊，板上考古好像也有帖子说只有这里说是36个月。有没有人有具体
的依据？特别是我的情况需要在8833的最后一行写上原因和依据

followed the "step by step" instruction, and got to talk to the 2nd tier
office.
But she just told me the case has not been approved yet. I asked if my
background checking is clear, and she said she has no information. That
information can only be known from TSC.
My case:
TSC,
PD: 11/10/2006
RD: 07/02/2007
So all that we can do is just wait. crossing fingers for all of us.

如果用JB1.0 jailbreak后，可以直接再用2.0 jailbreak 一次吗？还是要先restore
呢？

这是个fact time的问题。不同系的风气和传统不一样，没有单一答案。

谢谢，这个文档也没有说36个月，那个例子确实说明如果有一整年不在美国，可以顺延
。但是如果再次进入美国时间晚了，反而不行了。
