Cords are same for both. Charging adapters are not.
new iPods have no charger or charging adapter .... iPhones have ... as I
remember. iPad adapters have a doubled maximum output current .... but
the voltages are same. This means you can use an iPhone adapter for iPad
... but it will take a longer time to finish the charging ....
However, I am not sure if it is a good idea for you to use an iPad charger
to charge iPods and iPhones ..... since the maximum possible current is
pretty high in this case , is more than 1C .... I feel it may be easy to
break the battery cells ... if the iphone PMIC doesn't regulate this well
....
