是courier吗？看了youtue演示，那个对手写要求太高了，真要设计出来，估计95%以上
的人都要先去练字才能用，还是塑料板上那种练字。

Is it for reducing the total development cost or some politic reasons like
you mentioned ?
I am sure this will incur a lot of support burden to the previous desktop
edition team ....

做的app都能在tablet上用，这个是个很大的优点，一下子超越了
iOS和 Android.
否则除非微软自己投资做tablet上的app，它永远也不可能达到
iOS和Android的app水平。

如果Windows 8 Tablet背后支持classic windows app
那么可以推测很大一部分开发者都不会特别Care去专门为Windows 8开发metro界面的程
序。

最近Win8演示里做app用的可是javascript和 html5，不是.net。

以前iPhone OS webapp的时候说让大家用javascript和html5
geek们都疯了。
Win8的javascript html5一出，某些geek也疯了。
好玩啊。
从一个角度看

改改UI可比重新写个系统（比方说windows, photoshop, Matlab）
容易多了。而且很多程序不改UI也是没有任何问题的，
tablet够大就能用。比方说Visual Studio，加metro界面有什么用？
但是如果tablet用户想用，还是可以接个键盘鼠标，或者凑合用手指用。

容易多了。而且很多程序不改UI也是没有任何问题的，

This can be one reason ... Does this mean Windows 8 will be fundamentally
different to Windows 7?
Apparently, MS knows most available tablets are and will be running on ARM
instead of x86, while most desktop PCs are on x86. Therefore it wants to
make UI independent to the underneath OS cores, which can be either a x86
OS core or any ARM version OS core.
Honestly IMHO, this is very hard. One advantage of Wintel model is the
backward compatibility is very good. The hardware interfaces pretty
stable. However, for ARM, it is a completely difference story. The
interfaces and hardware profiles of different ARM-based tablets are not
consistent. This is also one headache Google is facing, I guess.

这位个也未必有你说的那么难吧，iOS就是从OS X衍生出来的，一个在ARM上跑，一个在
intel/PPC上跑。苹果都能搞得定，专门做软件的M$和google应该也能搞定。
