有一AT&T的3GS，合同到了想升成4S，自己用一个，把另一个给老爸（国内），有几个
问题想请教大家：
1. 如自己接着用3GS（优先选择)。问题是新的4S用激活吗？如不激活一月后是否要收
全价？如不用激活，我是不是接着用旧的SIM卡就可以了，新的4S都不用开包了？
2. 自己用4S。一旦激活3GS是不是就不能用了？或用之前重新激活？我是不是要在激活
4S前解锁3GS？

att upgrated 4s is locked and can not be use in China even without activation.
after activating 4s, 3gs will have no service and become an itouch 3. 3gs can
be jailbreak then unlock and use in China.

Under the contract you have to activate it.
They might have penalty for not activate it. e.g.
pay the different of the full price etc.
What is the point if you upgrade a new phone and
won't able to use it any way.
The best thing you can do is just upgrade to 4s
then jailbreak the 3GS and give it to your Dad.

谢谢，本想留旧的，把新的给老爸，倒数据也麻烦呀。
看到有人升级后卖了新的，想着和我的情况有点像。

你的3gs 是41周以前的吧?
应该可以完美越狱+解锁,在中国用没问题.
4s我觉得还是在美国用比较好,因为siri目前只支持英文.
有了itools,倒数据很容易了...

我的是41后的，目前只能升基带了解锁。
