mbp has its own chinese input. works well.

I am using the default chinese input in Lion 10.7, much better than the 10.5
version I used before. Under 10.5, it was almost useless, I have to use
FIT, but it drag the system down over the time.
This time around, the native chinese input was much better and so far no
complain.
