是个nonprofit的地方。reference check 都做完了，HR有跟我说过H1b要至少8周才能
办好。现在面我的人还要问status，好事还是坏事？还没收到offer呢

什么意思？iPad是10寸板，有啥冤枉的？应该说Nexus7差不多吧。
不过听你这两天推广这个牌子，我看了一下，那个Novo7 II Aurora好像不错，这个新
的Fire虽然是高清屏，好像问题不少啊，自动变砖，你怎么看老外的评论？
“So here is a summary of what's happening: the Fire is presently (October
2012) still undergoing development, both in terms of hardware and firmware.
The initial hardware has many flaws, the most important one is that it self-
bricks the tablet by frying the touchscreen interface chip, randomly. Also
Ainol changed the IPS LCD screen from one supplier to another. And there are
problems with the sound output (loud pops) as well as the "mosquito noise"
brightness PWM circuit.
Also, I am sorry to report that having examined the WiFi chip (Ainol are
using the BCM40183 on the Fire), I have to report that it's an inferior
solution compared to the Realtek chip they are using in the Crystal.
In terms of firmware it is clear to me, after having spent hours compiling
the kernel and checking the code, that Ainol still does not have a very good
grasp of how to develop Android on the AML8726-MX. One thing is more or
less obvious: they'll NEVER get a stable Jelly Bean on the Fire. ”

７寸是板子主流，１０寸有点傻大姐的意思。
如果不折腾，不会有变砖的问题。许多人自己烧ＲＯＭ。:)

HR不是说了可以办H1吗？不过Hiring Manager跟你谈有点怪异。

人家说好几个人遇到的Fire的问题是拿到手里玩不了两天自己变砖了，而且是display
的控制chip自己烧坏，自毁，除了寄回国内没得救。你自己也没用过，不用为这个牌子
打这么大的包票吧？

就算是费用问题也应该是HR谈。BTW,H1费用只能是雇主出。

非常担心。面试过程还挺顺利的。没有OPT真的算是个很大的障碍吗？

没有。OPT用过了，后来又拿了学位。

不，是non-profit的。申请下来就可以上班。

我还没看到offer letter呢。希望是好事，一个很想去的地方。现在没有心思准备其他
的面试了，等待真是痛苦呀。
