Got the status update this afternoon that our I-485 is in card/document
production and will mail within 30 days. It is really surprising. Because I
just checked the online status this morning and it was 'initial review'. At
about 4pm this afternoon, my cell phone rang for a text message from USCIS
about status update. My attorney said it is normal that the status go
directly from 'initial review' to 'card production' (the steps of 'decision'
and 'post decision' were skipped). My name is a very common Chinese name
and figured that it would probably take quite a while to have name check
completed. Never expected it would be so fast.
We've been in the States for almost 12 years. My PD is 12/20/07, RD is 12/02
/11, and FP is on 02/13/12. It happened that today is our 14th marriage
anniversary. What a gift!

爱情的保质期不长，过期了，就没有新鲜感了。所以，佛陀一再谆谆告诫：爱情看似妙
不可言，但在它背后潜藏着的，是无常，是痛苦。
2500多年前，释迦牟尼佛离开妻儿，选择了出家。这种辞亲割爱，不是不负责任，不爱
家人，而是为众生寻求摆脱痛苦的方法，是一种更大的爱。

佛主出家是因为他的婚姻不是现在的自由结婚，没有感情基础吧。。我有这个疑惑

似锦年华，恣意攀折
天上人间
似锦年华，恣意攀折，－－这段教义乃是佛陀驻锡在舍卫国时所说，是关於一个名叫
尊夫女的女人的事。这事是在三十三天上开始发生的。
据说，那天上有一位天子，叫做佩花环天。他带了一千名天女到他的乐苑里去
游玩。其中五百名天女飞昇到树上将花丢下来，另外五百名天女就把丢下来的花拾起来
，用以严饰那天眾。其中有一名天女，在枝头忽然像灯焰一样地消失了。
接著，她在舍卫国一家高种姓的家庭里受生。她一生下来，便能记得前生之事
，就自语道：「我是佩花环天的妻子。」她就用香、花之类供佛及僧，祈求来世能和她
的前夫再相聚。她十六岁的时候，嫁给另一户人家，但她仍继续每半月斋僧一次，并以
券食（ticket food）用为佈施，并说道：「愿以此功德回向，来生再与我夫相聚。」
於是大眾比丘就给她取了个名字，叫尊夫女。他们说：「她旰食夕劳，唯一眷
恋的便是她的丈夫。」
尊夫女经常不断地照顾著僧眾所坐的殿堂。她拿来乾净的饮水，又铺上坐垫。
别的人想佈施券食和其他斋品的时候，也都拿到她这里来，说道：「夫人，请将这些调
理一下用以斋僧。」她照这样子往返奔走，就将五十六种功德，一时具足了。
接著她有了身孕，满了十个月，產下一子。到这儿子会走路时，又生了一个，
直到她有了四个儿子。
有一天，她佈施斋僧已毕，听了佛法，如法持戒，在傍晚时分，忽然得了急病
去世，就像将手臂往上举起般地快速，一瞬间便在她前生的丈夫前再生了。
在这期间，其他的天女们仍在继续为佩花环天严身。
佩花环天问：「从今天早起，一直都没看见妳，你到哪儿去了？」
「我物化了，大人。」
「你这是当真吗？」
「确实如此，大人。」
「妳在哪里降生？」
「在舍卫国一户高种姓的家里。」
「妳在那边多久？」
「大人，我处母胎始十个月才出生。十六岁时嫁给另一户人家，生了四个儿子。行
佈施道以及其他功德事业后，我祈求能和您再在一起，於是又再在您身边出生了。」
「人类的寿命有多长？」
「仅只一百年。」
「只有这些吗？」
「是的，大人。」
「如果人生下来，寿命只有这麼长，那麼，这时间他们是在睡眠中毫无打算的度过
呢？还是他们也行佈施和做其他有功德的事情呢？」
「才没那回事呢，大人！人类从来不做打算的，他们以为就像他们生来有数不清年
代的寿命，永远不老也不死一样。」
听了这话，佩花环天人大大的激动了起来。
「这样看来，人类生来只有一百年的寿命，而他们还要毫无计算地把时间在睡眠中
度过，那他们什麼时候才能离苦得自在呢？」
人类的一百年只等於三十三天的一昼夜，人类的三十昼夜就是一个月，如是十二个
月便是人类的的一年，而三十三天人的寿命是天龄一千岁，也就是等於人间的三千六百
万年。因此对那位天眾来说，人的一生在天界连一天都尚未过完，其中的间隔似乎只有
一俄顷。因此，他想：「寿命短促的人类，没有算计是极不合适的。」
人间的第二天，比丘们走进村子，发现那殿堂没人照管，坐垫没舖设，饮水也没有放
好。他们就问道：「尊夫女到哪里去了？」
「尊者们，你们还怎麼能见到她？昨天你们各位大德饭毕离去之后，她在傍晚时分
就去世了。」
比丘们听了，那些尚未见道的，想到她的许多好处，忍不住涕泪滂沱。至於那些已
得漏尽的比丘们，也难免深受感动。
早餐之后，他们回到了寺内，就去问佛陀：「世尊，尊夫女旰食夕劳，广造善业，
只为她的丈夫祈求，如今她死了，请问，她在哪里再生？」
「在她丈夫之处再生，比丘们啊！」
「可是，世尊，她并没有在她丈夫那里啊！」
「比丘们啊！她所祈求的不是这个丈夫。她曾有一个丈夫，名叫佩花环天，是三十
三天一位天眾。她在他以鲜花严身的时候物化了。现在她又回去在他身旁再生。」
「世尊，真是这样吗？」
「当然的，比丘们啊。」
「哎呀！世尊，眾生的寿命何其短促！早上她还伺候著我们，到了傍晚，得了一病
，她就死了。」
「比丘们啊！确实是的，」佛陀说：「一切眾生的生命真是短促，就像这样子，死
魔征服了眾生；他们的感官欲乐的享受还未满足，就将他们哭哭啼啼地牵走了。」
这样说著，他就唱出了下面的一首偈子：
「似锦年华，恣意攀折，五阴炽盛，贪乐无饜。
当此之时，死魔骤临，彼人不觉，终为魔胜。」
