找了个contractor来修理水管附近的dry wall, 看到很长的钉子被钉进去，总是很担心
水管被打穿就麻烦了。请问这可能
么？如果打穿，外面能听到水的声音么？谢谢。

多长的钉子？ contractor没那么stupid吧
而且，一般补墙都是把dry wall订到后边的木条上，drywall的厚度，加上木条的厚度
得多长的钉子才能顶破水管啊

他的确是钉在木条上的。就是看那个钉子老长了有点害怕。contractor靠不住啊。不敢
全信。

除非你再拔出来，打穿你也听不到水的声音
不放心可以去买个stud finder

只看的上stainless steel band的，但是价格太高了。。。

It is actually extremely difficult for a nail to penetrate your water pipe
which usually has small diameter and is metallic. Even it the nail touches
the pipe, it most likely goes around it. I wouldn't worry about it until I
see clear sign of water leakage.
