I am a student majoring in Art. I don't think anyone looks down at me.

I think what biwatershed says is somehow true.
It happens all the time in the ancient time, even for masters, it is not
happening to the masters now, but it still exists.
It is true people respect artists now, but artists are still need to sale
themselves to the patriots.
what do you think "rich" mean?

If you do not think so, that's OK. This is only my idea. I get this from my
study of 8 years. I am not rich, and I am not an artist. My previous major
belongs to the field of art.
You need not feel sorry for me. If sorry or not, it depends on my feeling.

I did not look down at you. I admire artist. Seems you did not catch my main
meaning.
I know what is art, but maybe I do not know what is your "art". I spent 8
years in it. I know what is rich,but maybe I do not know what is your "rich".
I am not "rich", because I gave up chances to be "rich", and still be a poor
student here.
If you have some ideas, please explain them. Do not be so sure about me. I

Yes. You are right. most people respect artists now, but most people have no
relationship with artists. however, among those that ask artists work for
them, many do not respect artists.
"rich" here means you can have enough money to live a good life, such as top
10%. If you do not care, I say you are cool,you are a real artist, cause I do
not care either.
I just wanna speak my ideas. I just wanna tell ppl who do not really love art
