the first thing is how much do you want to spend on it, then how powerful
you need it to be. and, of course, what kind of objects do you want to see.
for planets, comets or other helio-objects, a 60mm or 80mm f12 refractor
is the best choice(i think), but maybe it's not good for deep sky objects,
which generally need large apeture to collect more light, while the price of
refractor increase with the apeture exponetially. in this case
a 4" or 5" f5 raflector may be a better one for its low price
you need it to be. and, of course, what kind of objects do you want to see.
