Wife had to ride once when I lived in another city and she came to visit me.
She said it's full of smoke smell and dirty inside. Bus doesn't always
drives on highway. Some bus stops were in bad places. I went to bus station
(bus' destination) and it was late for over half an hour.
I bought her round trip ticket but didn't use the return one. I drove her
back after her visit and then drove back to my town next day.
If you can avoid it, don't ride on greyhound.

都不太准时

非常感谢您的分享！那么我还是提前一天坐吧，要去那个城市坐飞机，所以打算先坐巴
士过去，这样能省点钱。

主要大城市之间的还好，比如 portland 到 seattle 到 vancouver，有好几个 bus，
bolt bus 就比灰狗好很多

灰狗上的人确实是奇奇怪怪的，不过还算安全
mega bus就好很多，因为mega bus要么用信用卡在网上买票
等车的地方工作人员也只能用你的信用卡打电话给客服买票

看地区吧，以前经常坐灰狗和mega，都很准时。至于乘客吗，自然不能期望很高，不过
绝大部分素质都还可以。特别是路过大学城的线路，很多大学生，要好很多。唯一的问
题是，有时候会有流浪汉搭乘。。。后来坐火车多了，票价贵一些，但是舒服和干净很
多。
坐mega和灰狗，争取坐前面，会好很多。
以前坐chicago到圣路易斯的bus，是个过路车，居然有很多是坐到LA的，简直是叹服。
绝大部分素质都还可以。特别是路过大学城的线路，很多大学生，要好很多。唯一的问
题是，有时候会有流浪汉搭乘。。。后来坐火车多了，票价贵一些，但是舒服和干净很
多。
坐mega和灰狗，争取坐前面，会好很多。

rode it on a 21-day pass one summer over 20 years ago and been to many of
East and West American cities. Even slept over night for over 7 nights on
the bus. Not recommend to girls. That era was over because the pass in the
2000s is directional (you can no longer ride east, then back to west next
day), also less than 1/3 number of the buses remain today compared to the
1990s.
