Scientist III – Post Doc– Decatur, IL
Microbial Biology Group
Archer Daniels Midland Co. in Decatur, IL has an immediate opening for a
qualified research to pursue post-doctoral training in the microbial
molecular biology group. The successful applicant will be able to contribute
to the goals of the group, which focuses on improving a wide variety of
microbial strains for large scale fermentations.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with quantitative RT
-PCR. Experience with Roche instruments is a plus. A strong background in
genetic engineering is necessary. Skills in physiology, enzymology and
fermentation technology are also desirable. Strong written and oral
communication skills in the English language are considered essential.
Applicants must host a PhD. In molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology
or related fields or have equivalent work experience.
Relocation assistance is available with this position.
This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP,
