我去http://www.ustraveldocs.com注册并加了护照信息，然后就点
申请美国签证的”立即申请“，可是看到了下面网页：

这个页面后，我点new application/schedule appointment,
开始选第一项，nonimmgrament,
第二项，就全部是印度的城市，根本没办法选择广州代签，
你知道怎么就能出现选择广州代签的选项吗？

大家好。我是国内生物化学出身，目前的工作涉及到一些遗传学内容，但我对遗传学只
知皮毛。有以下几个问题请教大家，请不吝赐教。
（1），工作中常碰到这样一些术语：allele, locus, variant, determinant, 等。能
请哪位专业人士给出以上几个属于的简单解释，或者给出相应的中文表达吗？
（2），碰到以下句子：the major T1D susceptibility locus maps to the class II
loci HLA-DRB1 and HLA-DQB1 on chromosome 6p21。这句话中，class II 指的是什
么？能帮助将这句话翻译成中文吗？
（3），gene 和locus的区别何在？不都是指chromosome上的一段DNA序列吗？

学生化的不懂这些概念确实有点说不过去吧。。。
1） google或者wiki直接就可以解决的。
2） class II这里指的是组织相容复合物MHC/HLA的分类，免疫学基本概念
3） locus特指gene或者一段特征序列在染色体/基因组上的具体定位，例如human TP53
的locus对应在17p13.1

最开始时选的中国，一到那个new application/schedule appointment,就变成印度了
阿三编的软件吧，差劲

One locus means one gene, and describes the position of the gene in one
chromosome.
Human is diploid which has two sets of chromosomes, therefore for one locus
(one gene) should have 2 alleles.
For example, MHC class II is a locus (means a gene), it has 2 alleles (means
2 copies of the gene). One is from your mom and one from your dad.
Allele could also mean variants (polymorphism), means the variation of the
gene sequence. It is caused by mutation during evolution. The MCH is highly
polymorphic, therefore you can generate diverse immune response.
