我周围的人都说是烂片，我最后赶着还是去看了一下。
以下是我个人感觉，如有让人讨厌的地方还请大家别在意这些细节
故事情节，情节分明的不能再分明了。这点上和我想的不太一样，虽然确实有啪啪啪和
打斗的场面但是总觉得人物的张力不够啊！感觉还有好多要说明白的地方，比如说男主
被弄回实验室给那个黑人兄弟换新身体的时候，为何检查的时候没有发现那金属呢？我
觉得反派就算再傻也不会忘记全身检查吧。再比如说男主不吃药度过的那一周，就那个
老头也没有交代烂尾给你个HE...这...不免有种花了钱坐在影院里如坐针毡的奇妙感觉
，到处都被刺一下刺一下。
但是觉得里面还有可圈可点的地方，首先老头去见女儿两次不同的心态，一次是解决问
题要靠钱一次是我希望我能帮助你解决的那种心态上的转变，从一个父亲不知道怎么爱
女儿到我终于理解了爱你的方式的变化我觉得尤为感人。以及博士对自己爱人的依恋充
分说明他不是个冷血的人，他也表示过想在研究后和爱人一起共享生活。只是爱人的老
年痴呆夺走了他们的幸福。感到了人性之中那一点点暖。
各有利弊？不过就片子本身而言，实在是走的太节奏了。教科书般的我知道你要干什么
...但是要是烂我觉得还凑合？

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) today announced the 28 winners of
a new $20 million program to jump-start the labs of young biomedical
scientists in countries outside of the United States.
The giant biomedical research charity in Chevy Chase, Maryland, created the
International Early Career Scientist awards after recognizing that starting
a career in science is "even more difficult in other countries" than in the
United States, says HHMI President Robert Tjian. The institute invited
applications from scientists in 18 countries with an infrastructure to
support strong science but inadequate research funding. Applicants must have
done graduate or postdoctoral work in the United States and started a lab
within the last 7 years. That's because HHMI wants to not only support
science globally but also to replenish the "influx of really talented
students" who come to the United States, Tjian says.
HHMI received 760 applications and invited 55 to give a 15-minute talk at
HHMI's Janelia Farms campus in Virginia last fall. The 28 winners are in
fields ranging from virology to plant science. The largest contingent—seven
—is from China, followed by Portugal and Spain, each with five winners. One
-third of the winners are women.
The researchers will each receive $100,000 a year for 5 years and $150,000
to equip their labs. They will also attend meetings with the 300-some HHMI
investigators in the United States. After 5 years, they can apply to renew
the awards.
Tjian says he didn't expect southern Europe to sweep up so many awards. But
he said it reflects the investments those countries have made in training
scientists and building institutes over the past two decades.
Recipient Rui Costa, a neuroscientist at the 1-year-old Champalimaud Centre
for the Unknown in Lisbon, agrees that investments by Portugal and
neighboring Spain have paid off. "These awards are not a subtle message," he
says. "They indicate that we must continuously invest in good people and
good science" even in difficult financial times, he says. For details on

不过大多博后老板很牛，独立以后做得很牛是真的。

这种分析未免有点误导的倾向哈，像张宏邵峰颜宁朱冰这样的工作，如果从美国起
步暂且不论，放到中国出人头地无悬念，入选国际HHMI无悬念啊，他们的老板就是瘪三
混混难道就能改变这个结果了？

拖一根长线是最简单最便宜的办法了
要注意 -- 不要被线拌到，摔了电脑或电视就不划算了

我的电视也有ethernet，但是比较老，只能decode mpg之类的，h264根本别想。
我用apple tv一般是看网上的电影啥的，另一半时间就是看电脑上下载下来的电影。他们说的pbo，himedia也是类似的

我认为该事件反映出来的最重要的POINT是：Tjian 好样的！
虽然Tjian的成功可能和美国的华人社团没什么关系，但我们华人还是应该多团结、多造就一些Tjian式的人物！宣传成功华人就是一个很好的方式，当然互相提携和帮助也是很重要的因素。
大家再不要对入选的同胞评头论足了，应该送去恭喜和祝贺。那可是无偿获得美圆支助啊！多多益善！只要是同胞，谁拿都要祝贺！

还是得感谢一大批牛人同胞们包括Tjian，晓东等人的功劳，没有他们本身的成功以及
他们在管理层面上的推动，中国本土是不可能这样从美国无偿拿钱的。

看结果这个项目主要资助主要是中国，印度，拉美，南非和东欧。
西欧国家的年轻pi人家厉害的可以竞争erc starting grant，5年100－150欧元，不比
这个好多了。。。
而且西欧也真不好意思和上面几个国家争。。。
总体说还是科研实力差距太大。。马普比较强的一个所的cns数量几乎可以顶上中国一
半甚至更多。
另外上面的不要看不起葡萄牙，西班牙，这两个国家科研在欧洲算是比较一般地（跟德
国英国瑞士荷兰意大利比利时法国以色列都差），但是真心不比中国差多少。。。
西班牙的cnio, crg,中国能达到这种档次的研究所几乎没有（nibs从文章上勉强，从学
术交流和大牛的数量还是要差一些）。
葡萄牙比西班牙又要差一些，但是igc那个研究所里面出色的老板也是非常非常多的。
。。总体数量中国可以鄙视葡萄牙一下（西班牙恐怕还是强一点），但是人家经济人口
现状那样。。。我们gdp第二大国比他们强也没什么自豪的，先超过以色列再说吧。。

争都哪跟哪啊...
国内研究机构肯定还是差得远的不过看这趋势大家要换评价标准才能继续feel good
的时候快到了就跟奥运会换成历史奖牌榜似的 lol..

德国不eligible不正好说明了Tjian等人起了很大的作用吗？你想想学术界德国人的势
力多大，这种白拿的钱谁不想要？如果不是某些关键人物比如Tjian的运作把德国、英
国和日本撂一边的话，中国还能分到那么大一块么？

以目前国内这几个入选的PI看，HHMI对他们来说更有意义的是头衔。这帮人根本就不缺
钱，至少目前是。这个给的钱不算太多吧（Successful applicants will receive
five-year grants from HHMI that will each total $650,000）。不过恭喜恭喜。

以目前国内这几个入选的PI看，HHMI对他们来说更有意义的是头衔。这帮人根本就不缺
钱，至少目前是。这个给的钱不算太多吧（Successful applicants will receive
five-year grants from HHMI that will each total $650,000）。不过恭喜恭喜。

一年10万也就是自然科学面上的水平啊还不如。。面上现在都80万一年了

自然科学基金面上以前一般三年总共40万，今年好像长到了60多万。

ft 我记错了去查了下是变成80万4年了还是比10万刀少很多

yes, i asked my previous labmate last year. she said it is 800K for the
whole project period.

Rui Costa--- The former Portugal and AC Milan number 10 player?

Recipient Rui Costa, a neuroscientist at the 1-year-old Champalimaud Centre
for the Unknown in Lisbon, agrees that investments by Portugal and
