agent之前给我们找了一个,让我们签了张纸.
现在我们打算换title insurance company,因为:
１.她给找的贵
２.她不许我们用reissue rate.
不知道什么时候title insurance开始工作.我们需要在什么期限之前换掉.
因为明天晚上要做inspection,怕现在跟agent说了她piss off,如果有事不帮忙了.

too.
Let's face it: where do we receive our research funding, and what are the
funding agencies' expectations? Regardless of whether it's tax payers' money
or some private foundation, eventually the beneficiaries would like to see
something tangible in return. Recall Econ101: there is no free lunch.

This is biology board and we are talking about research in the biological
field, funded mostly by NIH and other medical foundations. These
beneficiaries have a common mission to "uncover new knowledge that will lead
to better health for everyone", a.k.a., clinical applications. Science for
the sake of curiosity is, unfortunately, not their mission, and will be
frowned upon if put into a grant proposal. The politically correct way to
write an NIH grant proposal is to relate your research to some kind of
disease, and more recently, translational research.
Math and theoretical physics, on the other hand, get the majority of their
funding from NSF, which states in its mission "To promote the progress of
science". So there's nothing wrong or hypocritical for them to claim '
science for the sake of science'.
Simply put: we get paid by our funding agency and therefore have to abide by
their rules. Like it or not, you have to live with it.
