For the first point, get 2-3 new recommendation letters: better from those
fellows who could claim that they knew you from your publications.
For the second point, use google scholar to get your paper citations as
evidents of national interests. And if available, print out news that
reported your works.
And you need a good petition letter to argue the above two points.
Find a good lawyer is third option. I guesss you did it yourself?
