Have you got wrinkles? We all get them when we age. A close look at them
reveals that the wrinkle area has too much skin with very little muscle
underneath. If you want to get rid of wrinkles you can have plastic surgery
to remove the extra skin or you can try to eat a diet to build muscle. If
you decide to build more muscle, the best things to eat are protein and meat
. However protein and meat are not easy to digest. The best time to eat them
is in the winter. Let me explain why.
We take food digestibility for granted. Say for example, you eat a big piece
of raw meat which supposedly contains 1000 calories. If you swallow it
without cutting and cooking, will you get all 1000 calories? Definitely not!
Your body has to provide a lot of nutrients and energy to your stomach and
intestine to help you digest your raw meat. You can probably remember the
times when you feel sleepy after a big meal. This is because your energy and
resources have all gone to the digestive system. Just as we need the
nutrients in the blood to help us lift heavy items or run long distance, we
need them to help us to digest food. In the summer when it’s hot, most of
our blood and body fluid will flow to the surface of our body in order to
help us sweat and dissipate heat. As a result, there will be lack of blood
flowing into the digestive system. With little blood flowing into the
digestive system, we lose our appetite. The only thing you want to eat in
the hot summer may be just a watermelon. Similarly when we have a fever,
which is usually caused by blood flowing to the surface of our body to
defend disease, we lose our appetite as well. In contrast, during the winter
, due to the cold weather, our blood flows inside and provides our digestive
system with plenty of nutrients. As a result, we not only have a good
appetite, but also have peak digesting function. So this is the time to eat
a lot of food.
If you’re overweight, can you still eat a lot during winter? The answer is
yes. Most overweight people have issues of short of breath and chest pain
after slight work. This is because they don’t have enough nutrients in the
blood to support ordinary tasks. Insufficient nutrients will prevent normal
metabolism increasing the risk of becoming further overweight. So it’s
important for overweight people to eat enough and to eat properly. Of course
you shouldn’t consume too much and burden your digestive system.
Another benefit from the cold winter is that you can have a good night's
sleep. A hot day is more likely to make you toss and turn in bed with
thousands of thoughts in your mind. A cold winter instead will make you
sleep like a baby. You probably don't even want to get up.
With these benefits of cold winter, what should we do? Here are my
suggestions:
1. Don't travel to a hot beach for vacation during winter.
2. Turn down your heater. You can still wear your warm clothes. With a
heater on, you breathe hot air. With heater off and warm clothes on, you
breathe cold air. The cold air helps your blood flow to your inner body and
your digestive system.
3. Eat items available in winter, such as rice, wheat, bean, meat, nuts. If
you turn your heater on, you will want to eat items produced in hot summer,
such as green vegetable, fruits and cold drinks.

是牙齿全掉光,身上的肉不见了,就只剩下皮包骨。那要长肉最好的办法还是多吃点蛋
白质和肉,这样身材才会丰满。而蛋白质和肉都不好消化,适合冬天多吃。
冬天冷还一个好处就是睡觉特别香。大热天估计你在床上辗转反侧烦躁地怎么也睡不着
。大冬天不一样,躲在被窝里多舒服啊,你肯定赖着不想起床。
冬天有这么多好处,那我们该怎么过?我的建议:
1. 不去温暖的地方度假,尤其不要带老人小孩去。
2. 尽量少开暖气,让家里冷。家里冷不是说你不穿棉衣棉裤让自己冻着,而是要穿厚
衣服少开空调。开空调时你呼吸的是热气,穿厚衣服时呼吸的是冷气,效果完全不一样。
3. 吃冬天的东西,如五谷杂粮豆类,鸡鸭鱼肉,地下长的东西,如白萝卜,冬笋。如
果你把家弄得很暖和,就会只想吃夏天的绿色蔬菜水果,冰镇饮料。
4. 不要锻炼出大汗。锻炼出大汗会消耗很多气血,冬天要少做。
