A postdoctoral position is available for an individual with excellent
records of research who is highly motivated to carry out translational
studies into polygenic neurological diseases through gene discovery of the
pathophysiological mechanisms of serotonin signaling in mice. The project
will use genetic, molecular, genomic, pharmacological, biophysical and
behavioral approaches to elucidate the role of transient expression of
serotonin transporter SERT, the major target of SSRIs, in non-serotonin-
producing neurons during the period that lays down adult CNS neural circuits
(Cell Reports 10, 346-358, 2015, http://www.einstein.yu.edu/departments/molecular-pharmacology/our-researchers.asp?rid=10562). Candidates should have extensive experience in mouse genetics. 的青千都没资格。这水平的老板也就是混上去的。只从文章上说，如果现在出去找AP恐

这人是90年代末线虫巨牛Ruvkun的薄后，薄后期间也发过大文章，进入线虫代谢这个领
域也酸早的，不过独立后一直没啥好文章....
不过恕我不是开性别歧视炮，女老板尤其亚裔很多是这种类型的，跟着大牛postdoc还
能发发大文章，自己独立了就那么回事了，本质上生物在独立前比较容易成功的就是“
学习好” 的类型：认真，努力，不太笨，这种在大牛实验室只要别倒霉了一般都能混
出大文章，问题是自己独立了要自己觅食了就不行了...

我倒是觉得话糙理不糙，他没仔细看这个老板是从其他学校转过来的，所以近几年文章
一般，实际当时postdoc文章还是不错的。
这种实验室进去了除了熬年头拿绿卡我也没看到什么太大意义，发不出10分以上甚至20
分以上文章的实验室去做postdoc就是鸡肋，何况她这个实验室方向很小，就算有好文
章也不好申请经费，而且类似的课题国内已经有几个人在做了。
当然国内有大腿不愁位置的，最高目标就是211学校的副教授的...那么这个实验室还是
可以去得..
话说现在地方院校211没关系也不好进了，我师兄也是很聪明勤奋的人了，有CNS co-
first一作，有cell子刊，方向不算热门也不算太冷门，现在也没找到很好的国内教职
。
