We made an extract from human tissue products with DMEM/10%FBS and added it
to human fibroblast. Initially, the cells attached to the plate though they
looked crappy. overnight, they all rounded up and died.
Luminex mulplex analysis showed the extract contained ~300 pg/mL IL-1a,6, 8,
600 pg/mL MCP-1, 800 pg/mL TGF-beta 1, 2 and 2 ng/mL PDGF-AA,BB.
Has anyone heard of cytokine storm in cell culture?
