巧了，今天是和LD的anniversary
刚刚收到approval email.
RD:06.07
化学专业，claim老三样,是DIY的。
journal paper 14, 1st author 9,
total citation 180, independent 145,1st author citation 120
review很弱，是最担心的一块，总共只有15个，还包括2个revision
其他小奖没claim,比如系最佳毕业论文和优秀研究生
去年11月份file 140,觉得背景不强，所以一直没敢pp,后来实在等不了了，觉得冒个险
这1000刀没白砸。
我还有几个问题关于485。
1。如果我和LD同时file,我们的材料是放在两个信封里，然后再combine到一个大信封
里邮寄吗
2。485需要税表吗
3。婚姻关系哪些材料可以证明呢
最后祝愿版上兄弟姐妹早日拿到gc.

Submitted a manuscript to PNAS plus. direct submission, and do not know any
NAS members. It has been almost 10 days under editorial board review.
does it normally mean it will not be sent out to review?

I guess there is no hope to send out for review. Will send an email to PNAS

1。如果我和LD同时file,我们的材料是放在两个信封里，然后再combine到一个大信封

We got an email from PNAS today:
"Thank you for your message. The Editorial Board is currently consulting
experts to serve as editors on your manuscript. We hope to have an editor
assigned soon and I can assure you that we are maintaining contact with the
Editorial Board to expedite the process. We try to have final decision
within two months but we cannot promise a specific timeline as circumstances
may delay the process. We appreciate your patience and please let me know
if you have any further questions or concerns."
Is this a sign that the manuscript passes the editorial board review?

如果是direct submission, 并且是首次投稿的话，就是拒了。如果是改了2次左右，刚
投就这样了，就是已经录用了。

Elife 比pnas快多了，我们实验室从投稿到review回来都是一个月内，上次有个合作的
投了pnas，结果从投稿到review回来都两个多月，估计投pnas的更多，所以他们editor
效率就低了

初稿两个审稿人，一人给的评价好的出奇，我都惊讶了，全是溢美之词，“it is rare
for me to review such a great...." 等等。另一人给了3个yes，提出了三个大意见
，几个小意见。结果被拒。我立刻提出申诉，很诡异的是发出申诉后，两个小时，pnas
就回信说批准了。好像有人在立等我们的申诉一样。再投出去后，第一个审稿人被撇开
，又找了第三个审稿人，第三个审稿人依然给出了5个yes的评价。最后pnas只好收了。
我是做心理学＋认知科学的，发这种杂志对我的专业很难。

NND, Finally got the rejection letter. Two reviewers, one is negative, and
only gave two yes. The other is positive and gave all five yes. The editor
concurred with the negative reviewer's suggestion, and rejected it.
Will submit it to other journals.
