我们刚组建实验室，有三年的start funding，已经招了个research associate,现在诚
心招聘博后，薪水按照NIH标准，福利是New York 州立的标准（研究所是州立的）。
A postdoctoral fellow position is available at Roswell Park Cancer Institute
. We focus on clinical/translational/basic research of bladder cancer. The
goal of our research is to investigate the molecular mechanisms for which
urothelial cancer confers sensitivity or resistance to chemotherapy or
immunotherapy. We will identify clinically-relevant mutations using next
generation sequencing in patients enrolled in clinical trials at Roswell
Park Cancer Institute. The impact of these mutations on biological function,
drug response will be validated and characterized using state-of-art
molecular biology technology, cell culture, PDX model (patient derived
xenograft) and genetic mouse models. Our long-term goal is to translate our
laboratory findings to benefit patients and individualize treatment options
based on tumor’s features.
The successful candidate will lead a project in one of these areas and have
the opportunity to develop independent ideas aligning with the broad goals
of the lab.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in cancer biology, genetics or related field
Candidates preferred with experience in ANY of the following areas:
1) Strong background in cancer biology
2) Experience in cell culture, mouse genetic models and applying
computational approaches to the analysis of biological data.
