打算申请Eb1B，正在准备140材料，推荐信已经写好，现在律师建议我一起file 485，
我知道自己case实际上很弱，不知道我要不要这么做呢，大家帮我分析一下，多谢啦。
PhD in petroleum engineering (top 3), MS in Chemistry (top 30 univeristy)
11 journal papers (but only 4 of them are first authored)
7 conference papers
citation >100
10 paper reviews for 3 journals

去换油，被告知说2个front axles都要换。还说不换not safe to drive. 怎么知道那
个东西不行了啊，车很老，不太想投钱修了，如果不换真的很危险？

的都有，有佳能的清一色是男的扛着。用尼康的都忙着拍风景拍花啥的，不拍人。用佳
能的基本都是让女的景点前摆好姿势，smile，喀嚓一张，然后看看再补几张。感觉用
佳能的男的都围着女的转，很过日子的样子，感人，体贴。用尼康的都对女的爱打不理
的，忙着拍别的。
过日子，还是佳能靠谱。。。

最近急着找博后，发现好多地方都不support H1B。
我是做neuroscience的，动物细胞分子生化等实验技术都有涉及过，会RNA-seq分析，
会R,python,LINUX/shell。 first/co-first发表过3篇文章。
不知道这里有没有能招博后，又可以sponsor H1-B或O1签证的PI。

Your case looks strong enough.
I think that the risk of concurrent filing is a bit less than PP, and you
can make the most of your money and time, as it seems that concurrent filing
makes the 140 processing quicker, and your fee for 485 is still for your
485, but not used up as the PP fee.
The only caveat for concurrent filing is in the case of a couple. If it's
one person's concurrent filing, the spouse may not have enough time to file
485. But if filing two 485 concurrently with 140, the risk in money is too
much.

when you are turning, especially small turns. you will hear metal clicking
sound, also feel the knocking. usually caused by broken seals of axles.
eventually the grease inside will gradually lose out. metal could be broken
on metal, car wont be able to move.
also, old axles can cause losing traction when turning. be careful.
you can visually see the seal... turn your steering all the way, see if
the rubber seal if ripped. google on how an axle looks like.. good luck!

For two 485's, you need to pay 1070*2. If the 140 was denied (I hope not
though), the 485 application would be rejected, and the money would be
wasted.
If for only one 485, $1070 is similar to the PP fee, $1250.

我昨天也是去换油补轮胎，然后说drive axles一定得换，说得400刀，当时没舍得修

Good enough for EB1b.
If you and/or husband need the green card urgently, sure, concurrent filing
485. If you could wait a few more months for 140 approval (nowadays 140
seems a lot faster now), I wouldn't risk the $2000+.

if you are not hearing any noise, and physically feeling the clicking and
knocking, no need to check new ones right now. the rubber seals are
probably ripped, but grease inside will still last for a long while..
shops always like to scare people..
but, once you notice the problem, and get worse, do take care of it.. 300-
400 bucks fix is normal for common cars.

恩，我就知道转过来肯定版上有不少大虾要说话。
感觉用N的都自我感觉很好，用C都是家居型的,起码从入门机来说。
