I think Corporate Finance does mean the finance work in corporations. It
includes Corporate Accounting.
Big accounting firms and consulting firms also have departments called
Corporate Finance. This fact supports the point of view that Corporate Finance
is the work in corporations.
As to the certificates you mentioned, none of them is necessary for you to get
a corporate finance job, but definitely they are helpful, especially CPA.
