I will have a phone interview with a senior developer next Monday. It's a
PE firm with $20.0 billion assets under management. I guess it's a little
small.
My question is I don't have any idea about their IT system. I assume they
don't have resources to develop their own system.
How is the career path in this kind of firm?

not that much of a career path as a developer. PE firm is small and you are
in the backoffice, so it is basically a collect paycheck, pay the bill type
of work.
