The intern will work on NIH-funded projects by participating in the
development and maintenance of web-based training videos and online
communities for caregivers of the elderly people with Alzheimer’s diseaseor
related dementia, developing safe sex contents for older women, and
conducting literature review and environment scan. Interns will have the
opportunity to work with researchers from Harvard and get familiar with NIH
grant application process.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Assist in the development of web-based health educational programs and
online communities for caregivers of the elderly people with Alzheimer’s
disease or related dementia, particularly the family caregivers of ethnic
Chinese cultural backgrounds.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fully bilingual (in written and oral English/Chinese)
• Experience and knowledge in video making and editing is
preferred
• Ability to work 8 to 10 hours per week
• Knowledgeable in social media
• Previous experience on health related marketing highly
preferred but not required
• Interests in the aging field, especially Alzheimer’s diseases
and related dementia; willing to work with family caregivers
• Previous video production experience preferred
