发现计算机体系结构真是够麻烦的，虽然本科学过数字电路，感觉还是摸不到头脑，学
得比较痛苦。哪位大侠能指点一二？另外，如果将来出去不打算搞硬件（比如做网络，
或者去金融公司），这门课重要性如何？再次感谢。

The knowledge is very useful when your program becomes critical, i.e., time-
critical, volume-critical, etc. To put it the other way, writing "hello
world" type of programs do not need this knowledge, but is really useful if
you are working on some real stuff.

谢谢回复。不好意思time-critical和volume-critical具体是什么呢？搜了以下还是不
太明白。real stuff指的是硬件，比如具体的电路？
