我是chemical engineering undergraduate 的senior, 选了个4creidt hours Pulp &
Paper的individual lab, 也就是每个星期要在lab做12个小时. Professor 给的topic
是Nanofiber, 但professor 问我what do you want to do on that? 各位给小弟一点
意见吧, 对于nanofiber 这个topic, 我能干些什么? 谢了.

Paper and pulping is a dead field. More and more pulping factories are
closed due to overcapacity and pollution. It is why a lot of people are
switching to nano-cellulose fibers. Sound good. but it has an old name --
microcrystalline cellulose (commercial name Avicel). It is very hard to
develop new applications for Avicel.
Biorefinery will be better choice.

do anyone have any positive opinions on the nanofiber? That is the only lab
fit my schedule. so i need to stick on that.
