浙江大学化学工程与生物工程学系是由化工教育先驱李寿恒教授于1927年在中国创建的
第一个化工系，是化工领域高水平人才的重要培养基地。现有化学工程与工艺、生物工
程、制药工程、过程装备与控制工程4个本科专业，拥有化学工程与技术学科博士点和
博士后流动站，涵盖化学工程、化学工艺、生物化工、应用化学、工业催化、制药工程
、化工过程信息工程等专业，同时建有动力工程学科下的化工过程机械、动力装备信息
工程博士点，并共建动力工程及工程热物理博士后流动站。其中，化学工程、化工过程
机械为国家重点学科，生物化工为国家重点（培育）学科，生物化工和应用化学为浙江
省重点学科。
化工系现有教职工158人，博士后38人，其中，教授57人，包括1名长江特聘教授、2名
长江学者讲座教授、5名浙江大学“求是特聘”教授、3名国家杰出青年基金获得者、8
名教育部跨世纪优秀人才支持计划和新世纪优秀人才支持计划人才。2010年，我系科研
经费到款超过1亿，其中，国家自然科学基金项目共33项，获批率达46%，获批科技部“
973”项目2项，李伯耿、杨立荣为“973”首席专家。2010年还获国家、省部级科研奖
励9项。我系一贯注重人才培养，建系80多年来，已累计培养了近2万名毕业生，活跃于
教育、工程、科技、管理等领域，毕业生中有15人当选中国科学院或工程院院士、1人
当选加拿大工程院院士、5人担任重点大学校长。
为了进一步提高化工系的国际竞争力、促进化工系的发展，我们诚挚欢迎海内外高层次

Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
Zhejiang University, one of the very top ranked comprehensive research
universities in China, invites applications for faculty positions at all
ranks in its Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. As the first
chemical engineering department founded in China in 1927, the
department aims at continuously strengthening its education and research
and establishing itself as a world-class institution. The Department’s
current research strengths are in the areas of polymerization and polymer
engineering, biotechnology and bioengineering, pharmaceutical
engineering, industrial ecology and environmental engineering, chemical
machinery and process equipment. The Department is also aggressively
expanding the areas of energy and sustainable engineering, catalysis,
process safety and health systems engineering. Candidates with interests
that complement and strengthen these areas are welcome to apply.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in chemical engineering or a related
field with postdoctoral or industrial experience. The successful candidates
are expected to develop strong, independent, and innovative research
programs, and contribute to both undergraduate and graduate education.
