through the whole onsite interview, the search committee chair only asked me
one question. All the time (lunch, after presentation and interview with
him) he just explained how the school works and the situation of the dept.
Is that normal? Feel weird.

乙肝病毒携带者多年，有段时间没检查身体了，岁数大了，六十出头了，最近身体不舒
服，前几天检查医生说血液病毒很严重，开了药，血还得送到医院继续确认是不是长什
么东西（我人又在外地，没能陪同一起去看病，不知道医生说什么，查了下，猜测医生
说血管瘤，肝不好容易导致血管瘤？）大家帮我看看病例报告，各项指标是不是超过正
常很多，麻烦用通俗的语言帮我解说解说，非常非常感谢，愁死了。

Is the VT20+ worth the price difference as the upgrade?

就着《如懿传》将播的热度，作家匪我思存不知道为什么，突然出来发声说，作家流潋
紫的小说《甄嬛传》和《如懿传》都是抄袭别人的小说拼凑出来的。
接着就有人把《甄嬛传》和其他几部被抄袭的小说相同或相似的段落做了一个对比图。
讲真，我看了对比图之后反而很佩服流潋紫了。能把那么多部小说拼凑起来，不但拼凑
的天衣无缝，还被公认为是一部写得很不错的小说，这本身就不是一件简单的事情呀。
这是比自己构思一部小说都难的。
但人家流潋紫做到了。上天也没有辜负人家的辛苦，被导演发现拍成电视剧，从此金钱
名誉双丰收。
现在虽然被爆出了抄袭，但毫不影响人家的名气和赚钱。
与流潋紫一样的，在咱国内，还有两个名气很大的作家。一个是郭敬明，一个是安意如。
当年郭敬明的小说《梦里花落知多少》抄袭了作者庄羽的《圈里圈外》，郭敬明被告上
了法庭，最后败诉，被判赔偿对方经济损失20万。后来，虽然官司打输了，郭敬明却还
是不承认抄袭，据说也拒绝赔偿对方的20万。最后的结果如何我也不知道。我只知道，
郭敬明并未因此事件而身败名裂，反而是越来越火，赚了个盆满钵满。
作家安意如是解析古诗词的。从诗经到唐诗宋词，那些著名的诗词都被她解析了一遍。
我看过其中一些。不得不承认她真是有说的，一首短诗，经她解析，可以扬扬洒洒写出
几千字来。
就在她因这些诗词解析越来越火的时候，被人指出那些解析其实都是抄袭别人的。和流
潋紫一样，她的文章也被别人做了和原出处的对比。好多地方，一大段一大段的都是照
搬别人的原文。不过，也证明了，人家确实认认真真把别人的原文都看了，才可以抄袭
的那么巧妙，组合的那么好。
但同样地，安意如也没有因为抄袭而销声匿迹，人家不但成了诗词解析的掌门人，还靠
着出书买了大房子，全国全世界的到处旅行。
由此可见，在中国，作家要想出名，应该多跟这三位学学，学人家如何巧妙的抄袭，完
美的组合，摇身一变，变成自己的原创。

人"惨痛"的经历在网上都那么多了,既然你觉的学化学不好,不好就业,或者是BOSS很
PUSH,
要么同事很MEAN什么的,那你为什么当初还要接受OFFER(还都是全奖什么的)呢?
一个字:贱!还非要给自己找个堂皇的借口..问问你,你到底学到了什么?你又想把
你的未来设计成什么样的呢?
以后真不想看到你们这样的中国人,还是把机会给那些呆在国内真的想出来搞科研
的人们吧!
注:一家直言,不爱听你就洗洗睡吧..
希望版主不要删,给那些拿着好还在那抱怨的人一记响亮的巴掌!!

我们这个城市统计平均每人单程cummute的时间是45分钟，包括上下班高峰时间的堵车
时间。所以好多人很早上班，早下班。

开车的话会很累，下午一个半小时中途你还要休息，不然很危险
迷糊状态开车容易出事。
搬到离公司特别近(<15 min)的地方？过过easy life.

I do every day for almost one year. It is tough. but if you can't get away
from that, just try to enjoy the three hour.

还好吧。曾经这样开了一年半，也没觉得很累。记得有一次回家下大雨，足足开了2.5
小时。当时下载了很多小说评书的mp3,把四大名著，金庸的小说在路上又温习了一遍。
