I had a similar experience as LZ. I found myself underpaid comparing to my international peers from the company's salary data for h-1b/green card applications in public domain. At that time, the company had started my GC application. I was upset for a few months. Eventually, I showed my boss the data; I got promoted in the following year. I don't think the promotion has caught up the gap completely but better than none. I have very good relationship with my boss; he trusts and listens to me
Once you are above the required privilege wage, then there is no necessity the company sees to raise salary for you. Normally speaking, your pay should reach the privilege bottom-line otherwise you wouldn't have been even qualified for H1B and GC. If you already got your H1B/PERM, at least you are not that underpaid, to be honest.
