想做个个人网站， 主要存些自己做的视频音屏文件(挺多的)给大家上传下载，用户量
不大。
页面目前是介绍性质， 以及一些搜索功能以后会加其它功能。
想要个简单并便宜的方法做网站。
1）用bluehost host + wordpress 做网页行吗？是不是空间会不够？
2 用aws呢？
如果用EC2做 web server 是不是就得完全自己写网页程序不能利用 wordpress之类
的快速生成网页的功能了？
如果用自己的独立域名岂不是还得用aws 的route53 DNS server 和 hosting
service？EC2 和 S3 好说。
route53 是不是还挺贵的 即使是free-ties的 账号？我这网站非商用的。
大家有什么经验吗？

box都填0了。然后呢，因为工作的原因relocation，老板不给报，所以出了个大负数。
不知道该怎么报了。请赐教！
还有便是，之前用turbotax填的时候还问了找工作花费的费用，1040哪里可以体现，如
何claim这些呢？
再确认下加州州税是天540 long form吧。还没填，邮寄地址是哪里呢？

Many people have received NVC notices.
I searched all the Indian websites and found an interesting fact:
1.) Most of the PD 2007.07-12 received their NVC notice around April 9th,
around the May VB release date.
2.) Most of the PD 2008.01-04 received their NVC notice around May 13th,
around the June VB release date.
My conclusion is that:
1.) Mr.O noticed the huge EB1 spill over in April, but he was afraid of the huge
EB3-EB2 upgrade, so he only told NVC to send notices to 2007 PD.
2.) Mr.O noticed the EB3-EB2 upgrade is very small, so he notified NVC to
send more notices to the PD of 2008.
Additionally, I asked my lawyer about the NVC notice today. My lawyer said
that NVC has been very careful about these notices in the past. The reason
is that the $795 application fee can be expired if one case is not processed
within 12 months. Usually they only send notices 4-6 months in advance. Plus many Indians have paid this fee. It's no joke.
I suspect there will be a huge jump in the next VB. Let's keep our fingers
crossed.

1) tell A that B is busy and this work has to be done ASAP, with or without
B;
2) tell A you'll take as detailed notes as possible to share with B. ask him
to talk slowly so you can do it (AND you can digest better for yourself);
3) email A and cc B after each session, with all your questions/notes, so A
can confirm nothing is missing and B can take a look (now or later) if he
wants;
4) cc this email to your boss too, so A can get credit, B feels involved,
boss will be satisfied (and your ass covered). in the end, send another
thankyou email to A and his boss to appreciate his time and effort.

现在NVC notice受到的人当中最迟的priority date是08年几月份？
4月9日，5月13日，那接下来6，7，8月份也应该陆续有新的NVC notice发出吧？
前进到08年底吧 干脆。

1040表很多地方如果是负数到后面会清零的。
如果免税收入都在1042S上且没hold税，1042S的内容不需要出现在1040上。你要不放心
可以给IRS寄一联去。

My major finding is that they are sending out NVC notices along with the
Visa Bulliten. I think Mr.O is updating NVC on a monthly basis.
I think it's possible they will send more NVC notices around the time when
the next VB is coming out. We need to keep monitoring the situation
In other words, it's possible they may get more people on board.
Just my personal opinion. Anyway, they will move PD into 2008 for sure.

No, they plan to admit more people into the pipeline for sure.
The movement of NVC notice is almost at the same pace of VB movement.

April 2008 is the latest I have ever seen.
It's possible they may send out more notices to the PD after April 2008.
I think DOS is evaluating the situation every month and notify NVC a monthly
basis.

I don't think that anyone outside of the State Department has a clue as to
future cutoff date movement in the short term. There are just too many
unknown variables. Perhaps the best indication is the interval we see
between when the NVC sends the fee bill and the individual's priority date.
Generally, the NVC does not send a fee bill until they estimate that the
person's priority date will be current within half a year. I randomly picked
three fee bills that we have received in the last few months to get an idea
of what the NVC is doing. In April, we got a fee bill for an India EB2
applicant with a cutoff date of September, 2007. In May we got one for
someone with a cutoff date in November. In June we got one for someone with
a cutoff date in January, 2008. When I get time, I'll go through all of our
fee bills and put together a list of the fee bill dates and the
corresponding cutoff dates.
Before anyone tries to use this for precise calculations, please understand
that the NVC simply makes their best guess. They could be off by months. At
the same time, they have access to the best backlog data available.

Ron is a very reliable immigration lawyer. A lot of things he posted on this
website turned out to be true.
Even he noticed that. So hopefully we will see VB moves to early 2008 next
month.

Yes, that's why I posted his analysis here.
I think NVC/USCIS/DOS have discussed this plan a long time ago and they have
access to much more data than us. I think back to April they have laid out

on IV site, they have somebody posted they received fee notice with PD 09.
2008, but it's not very reliable. I would not trust that post.

I don't know actually.
NVC bills were sent out from April to June this year. We never saw any bill
notice after July.
The last bill I saw was April 2008. I think it's possible that they will
move PD to April 2008 in the next VB. Or they will move PD to April 2008 in
January VB.
But nobody is 100% sure about their next move!
CO is unpredictable. He may just move PD to Dce.2007, nobody knows!
