是这样的:
去年8月申请了个NSF的grant,是给改进论文用的.
叫做什么DDIG (Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants).
钱不多,就一万多,买个personal supercomputer.
因为钱来得晚,现在都快PhD毕业了,不知道能不能带走呢?
当时是说如果我去美国的一个别的地方学校,是可以带走的.
现在8月就要离开美国了,去另一个国家,系里教授说随便我,现在是不知道这样是不是违
背NSF的规定.
请有经验的大侠帮忙看看这个情况.

前两天约到了父母广州10月22日早上9点的签证，好像现在挺好约的，我直接要了我想
的日子。同时我岳母也约到了10/25成都的签证，成都最早只有10/25了。
现在有个问题：我家所在城市没有中信银行，我父母准备10/22早上7点的火车到广州东
站，然后去中信银行交申请费，再去签证。看了地图，这三个地方都挺近的，应该可行
。问题是中信9点才开门，所以等交了钱再去领事馆估计要9点半以后了。不知道要紧吗
？我记得自己以前在上海签的时候约的具体时间只是个大概，只要上午进去就行，对吗
？（主要是不想提前一天到广州）

目前是ATT single line user, contract expired for a few month already.
想在网上订一个199刀的Iphone 4, 选那个 $25的 data plan, 想问:
1) 如果网上order, 当时要pay吗? if yes, how much to pay? 包括什么项目呢?
我是ATT user, 还需要启动费吗?
2) Order之后, 收到的第一个账单, 肯定不是以前那个single line的39.99(excluding
Tax), 那么账单上会有多少钱?

I assume you can't. You have to use the money through your current
university. Spend as much as you can before leaving.

why not arrive one day earlier?? to save a little bit money?
what about if the train is late?? train is 7am, and interview is 9am, and
you even need time to pay application fees...don't get your parents too busy
and worried, give them more time to be flexible...

注意这里的税金是要按iphone的标签价（$599）计算，哪怕你付的是合约价。

Don't buy too expensive ones, which you may not be able take them with
you. Ask your department.
