看看下面的转贴里，关于白血球青霉素用量死亡率等等的数据，对吗？

小弟所好很杂，对医学理解不多。但在我看来，走到末路的恐怕是现在辉煌灿烂的西医
。。。。。转前些日子看了一本书：王佑三先生所著的《明天的医学向何处去 ——我
的平衡医学观》，大有相见恨晚之感。这位医学狂人（请见谅）说出了我自己一些处于
朦胧状态的试想。文中闪亮的观点，精辟独到的见解让我相信，它象征着新医学的曙光
！！！
人类近万年的文明史创造了灿烂的现代医学（主要是说西医），但他已经没有任何
的出路的。不管再出现的什么病的特殊疗法或是药物，西医都不能摆脱一个模式：那就
是过分关注具体而忽略了整体。它基本上是绕过人体免疫器官去直接通病原体作战。结
果病原体在超强度的训练中日益凶猛，人体免疫系统在无所事事中日渐衰弱。免疫能力
水平与病毒菌株变异间的“水位差”越来越大，这是一个极危险的情况。现代人的体制
日益下降，20世纪初，人的白血球正常值为8000-10000，后来逐步下降。50年代是6000
，70年代是4000，到90年代只有3000多了。耐药菌株却发展迅速，连大肠杆菌和痢疾杆
菌这张普通病菌也有了耐药菌株，抗生素

I once had a similar struggle. In a way, medicine is a force against
evolution, which aims at eliminating those do not fit. But the ethical
dilemma is that if you had a child carrying a genetic mutation causing
diabetes, would you want him to live with the help of medicine or would
rather he die for the sake of proper human evolution? It took me a long
time to figure out that medicine shall not be a force to facilitate
natural evolution. We shall simply admit that it is just another part

这个人的数据有问题，网上随便查一查就知道现在白细胞测量的正常的白细胞范围是
4500 - 10000。那他那个七十年代是4000，九十年代的正常值是3000就是在瞎掰。

数据的确有问题，非常不严谨。但是里面说的一些事实的确存在，像越来越多的耐药株
的出现，现代人免疫力减弱等，这里面的原因很多，西药特别是抗生素有着直接的关系
。不过么，抗生素带来的优点也是显而易见的，它挽救了很多人的性命。毕竟这个世界
上的神医很少，要让普通人也能够治愈疾病，简单易学的西医（相对于中医来说）就是
一个很好的选择。中医，个人觉得是种精英学问，不是那么容易被普通人掌握的，毕竟
作为一门整体学科，它需要太多的知识积累和一种叫做悟性的东西。中西医的争论，其
实也是东西方文化的争论，是东西方哲学对事物不同观察点的争论，无所谓对错，只有
是否适合，就像当年的宏观物理和微观物理一样，是对事物的不同认识方法。

There are a couple misnomers that require clarification:
1) A drug-resistant strain of bacteria is simply drug-resistent -
doesn't mean it is more purulent. It is a legitimate fear that someday
a strain of bacteria may emerge that no antibiotics can kill it.
However, no such bacteria have emerged yet because we have developed
more than a dozen classes of antibiotics, including hundreds of drugs in
a mere 70 years. But even such a day does come, it simply brings us
back to the pre-antibiotics

MRSA - methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus
It is resistant to most beta-lactam class of antibiotics. There are still
several antibiotics we can use to kill it.

好几个人都跟我说过打了青霉素之后舌头对味道的敏感会降低
做菜的时候老觉得淡
