（二十三）水桶那么粗的竹子
根据骆光林的透露，学校计划在南郑县的元坝办个农场。小骆虽然不善言辞，不过
这次他讲得有鼻子有眼的，好像他亲自去过一样。他说，元坝地区有真正的原始森林，
那里的竹子都有小水桶那么粗，把我们这些大城市里来的傻冒们骗得一愣一愣的。在他
的鼓动下全班同学立即自发集合起来，到系“革委会”去请战。老楚等人正在与秦放谈
话，他出来对我们说：“院里打算每个系去两个排，当然要派过硬的排去，院里要求是
让四好排去，现在正在搞四好总评，你们排出了秦放的事，说明你们排的思想是不过硬
的……你们今天来请战，要求到艰苦的地方去，这很好，你们先回去，到底哪两个排去
，还得系革委会研究之后才能决定。”
听了老楚的话，我们就像三九天被兜头浇了一盆冷水，来了个透心凉，当然心态摆
正了，这其实也是无可无不可的。能去的话，当然可以遂我们想要见识真正原始森林的
心愿。但等待我们的当然是更加艰苦的生活。

我也是做交通的，我们的公司项目也减了不少，原先年初要来的都 on hold 了，但是
估计只要本来谈好的项目迟早要来的，只是时间问题。

well, i guess they are not that good anymore these days, but still kick my
undergrad school's ass every time.

Did some google and saw this from wipi: Emory is one of the Southern Ivy:
Duke, Rice, Emory, Vanderbilt, U Virginnia, U North Carolina at Chapel, Wake
Forest U and College of William and Mary.

William is the havard among libral art colleges.
hehe, cant compare between standard university and libral art though,
especially if you do engineering/business.

Villanova is very close to Philadelphia.
It will be easy to find jobs after graduation.
Very quiet, beautiful campus.
It is ranked as one of the best Master-level University in East Coast.
It is a place for rich kids.
I studied there for one semester. I do like there. Very good food, hehe...

Please... College of William and Mary is _NOT_ Williams College... Williams
is in MA, how would you expect it to be in the southern ivy?

Philly is not far from New York.
It only takes two hours driving if you have an interview in New York.
Philly is close to Baltimore and DC. If you take the train(Amtrak), it is 1
hour from Philly to Baltimore and 1.5 hour from Philly to DC.
So many job opportunities in New York, Philly, Baltimore and DC...
