A postdoctoral research position funded by a National Institute Health (NIH)
grant is immediately available in Prof. Jianlin Cheng's group in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia. The
scientist at this position will work on a project to design, develop, and
benchmark cutting-edge computational methods to predict protein structures
from sequences.
Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in computer science,
bioinformatics, computational biology, biophysics, computational chemistry,
or a related quantitative discipline. Successful candidates will be offered
competitive salary according to the latest NIH pay scale http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-12-033.html and standard university benefits. The initial term of the position is one year and the renewal of the position would depend on the availability of future funding.

如题，本想自己直接在USCIS网上填AR-11更新地址，但被问“Is this change of
address for an application or petition currently in progress?” 如果选Yes，
则要提供Form Number/Type， Receipt Number, A-Number等等。
发邮件问公司HR雇的律师了，但是一如既往的慢、还没回我。想问问有没有在等PD排期
时搬家的朋友，能否分享下经验？多谢~

Job description
Company Summary

Job Description
This position has primary responsibility for project level coordination of
all civil/structural engineering activities, ensuring that all engineering
work is completed on schedule, on budget and in accordance with client and
company established work procedures and quality.
Responsibilities
1.Work on medium or large size engineering projects.
2.Able to lead a team of civil and structural engineers and designers on
major projects as a lead engineer or discipline lead.
3.Define and review scope of work, prepare engineering estimates at both
proposal and design level, schedule and monitor progress for civil/
structural portion of work in a project.
4.Prepare, review and approve design calculations as required to meet
project requirements.
5.Conduct field investigations as needed by projects and prepare detailed
field reports.
6.Coordinate with other discipline leads to ensure effective quality product.
7.Keep up to date on new engineering processes, techniques, and IMS and
standards.
8.Develop and recommend improvements in engineering and design standards and
guides to lower cost and improve work quality and facilitate maintenance.
9.Ensure that effective methods and design/engineering techniques are used.
10.Resolve project issues and problems.
11.Provide technical support to construction and facilitate the work of
project team members.
12.Contribute to a team environment by accomplishing related results in a
cooperative and supportive manner.
13.Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes
for the department.
14.Able to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
15.Provide input to the Department Manager during the preparation of the
performance evaluation of the civil/structural engineers and designers
assigned to his/her project.
16.Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Preferred Education and Relevant Experience/Training:
•BSCE degree plus minimum 15 years of hands on civil/structural
experience required in petrochemical, midstream or other heavy industries.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Role is required.
•P.E. license (preferable in the State of Texas) is required or able
to obtain by comity.
•Established NCEES record is preferred but not required.
•Excellent verbal, written communication skills required.
•In depth knowledge of civil/structural computer applications.
•Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in technology.
•Ability to integrate new technologies into daily work processes
•Experience working with other disciplines understanding their
interface requirements.
•Experience with design and/or construction of plants desirable.
•In depth knowledge of civil/structural standards, design codes and
practices.
Additional Information
Technical Knowledge and Skills
•Midstream experience is preferred.
•MS Office (Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word, working
knowledge in Access)
•Familiar with PIP Standards.
•Working knowledge of civil/structural layout and design complying
with industry standards.
•Familiar with latest of IBC, ACI, AISC, API, and ASCE codes
Computer Skills:
•MS Office (Excel and Word) and product proficiency required.
•Proficiency with Staad Pro, Staad Foundation, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D.
•Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Bentley) or Microstation.
Language Ability:
•Full fluency in English is required.
•Second language desired but not required.
