I found, I don't know if there is any sense, few Chinese people*(sorry,no
other meaning mentioning Chinese here) like Jazz. I don't know if there is a
basic conflict between Jazz and Chinese culture. People who are really into
music, even those people who are professional musicians, rarely show much
passion in Jazz. I figured out Jazz actually need a l

Jazz 跟古典音乐比起来，至少有三点不足。一。古典音乐表现的题材可以是爱情，
宗教，战争，大自然等等，但Jazz通常都是表现爱情。二。古典音乐表达的情绪可
以是欢乐，也可以是忧伤，可以是庄重，也可以是诙谐，可以是华丽，也可以很单
纯。有表达的无限可能性。但Jazz就相形见绌多了。三。音乐的美在很大程度上是
乐器的美，古典音乐的作品一方面挖掘乐器的表现潜力，另一方面演奏家在技术上
的完美又增强了作品的感染力。古典音乐在某种程度上是演奏家的艺术。而Jazz对
乐器演奏的技术的要求就差多了。
当然现代音乐的理念发生了很大的变化，以前的价值观受到了挑战。现在包括严肃
的作曲家都会借鉴Jazz。Jazz不被完全接受是因为我们受西方音乐的影响太深了，
这不光是Jazz遇到的问题，现代音乐，包括摇滚同样有这样的问题。另外音乐作为
一门艺术，是艺术家的个人行为，与其他人无关，试图改变听众和讨好听众一样都
是功利主义。
