I am basicaly wordless after applausing for 5 minuets with all of my energy in
the concert hall when Kissin reappeared once again with his heavy steps and
the light saddness on his face.
I never hear anyone playing such good Liszt. His Memphisto Waltz is nothing
short of perfect. The accurate capture of the rhythm, the layered contrast of
strengths, the delicate control of sound color, the spontaneuous emotions are
all realized into this one piece under his hands. In that 10 minuets, one
