Dalian Medical University is seeking 2-3 innovative scientists to join the
faculty at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor at Institute of
Cancer Stem Cells (ICSC).
Dalian Medical University is located at the beautiful city of Dalian, China.
It has 1.5 Million square meters, over 20 thousands students, 14 affiliated
hospitals, and over 60 medical teaching bases. Recently, Dalian Medical
University is expanding rapidly by recruiting talented scientists all over
the world. More than 14 independent labs have been established in the past
two years that focus on different areas of cancer and molecular biology
researches, such as epigenetics, RNA splicing, protein ubiquitination,
signal transduction, genomics, and bioinformatics. More information can be

We are currently seeking 2-3 talented and highly motivated scientists with
extensive bioinformatics skills for expert analysis of high-throughput
sequencing data. The applicants will develop computational algorithms and
software tools for the analysis of large datasets generated by ChIP-seq, RNA
-seq, or BS-seq, as well as the data downloaded from public databases.
Applicants are expected to have
1. a PhD degree in subjects of bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer
sciences, or mathematics.
2. demonstrated mathematical competence.
3. proven experience in writing programs in languages of R, Python, Perl,
C etc.
4. over one year experience of operating and developing in a Linux
command line environment.
5. knowledge of next-generation sequencing technology and its analysis.
