almost anything ah. under matlab
a = [ones(size(x)) x x.^(-2) x.^2]\y;
assuming you have column vectors.

I used origin 6.0 and did not make it. will try again. thanks, Localking!

You are welcome. I'm using origin 7.5,
go to Analysis->Non-linear curve fit->Advanced fitting tool,
"more" if you are in the basic mode.
press the 3rd button to create your own fitting function.
