Even on 32-bit computers, I'm sure I have arrays much bigger than 1300 X 1300. Except the 32-bit and 64-bit, does Operating System matters? Mine is either Linux or AIX.

我用的系统是32bit的window xp, 软件是Fortran Power statation 4 or Visual Fortran 5 我们组至少有其他两个人遇到同样的问题,不知如何解决.是不是可以在软件的设置里调 些参数? 比如90年代学C语言的时候,可以选择大模式什么的支持大点的内存。
