[help]should I switch from Matlab to C?# Computation - 科学计算

Right now I am developing a program using MATLAB. I already vectorized my co
de, but it is very slow.My program mainly requires
1. large SPARSE matrix operations(6k*6k), including SVD
2. solving ODEs with vector length 6k
I don't have much numerical C++ experience before. If I swit
ched to C++, can the performance be improved greatly?
and also, can anybody recommend a good C/C++ library for this work?
Thanks in advance!!!

goto programing. Somebody may answer your question.

thanks for your suggestion. I am doing it right now under windows, P4 3.0G 1G
memory, do you think it is
enough?
Right now in the program most time is spent in solve an ode equation with this
6k variables and I am using the simple matlab built-in solver ode45. I am a
little skeptical about its efficiency.
