本来父母两周内就要来美了。老爸突然查出来前列腺不好，需要穿刺检查。但是穿刺要
安排到两周以后了。所以老爸想来美国检查。请问有什么保险可以给他买？只打算在美
国作检查（验血、超声，穿刺之类），如果需要手术打算回国再作。不知这样如果没保
险，要花多少钱？

前一集还穿着破烂，偷偷把剑拿出来保命。
可这一集里衣着光鲜，出手阔绰，在大街上悠悠地闲逛，不合理。

In my opinion (i am not a doctor but an "experienced" patient :-)
Option 1 (recommended): 1A: change flight tickets and postpone the trip - yo
u may be able to waive or reduce the change fee with a doctor's notice (did
it once before, but it's a China-bound Continental flight 2 years ago) 1B. t
ry another hospital in China - it's not likely they are all booked for weeks
, well, for very good ones in popular cities, maybe...
Option 2: see whether your state has Medicare/Medicaid/charity programs for
non-resident (i heard about that from a doctor, but never really figured out
the details and diffs among them). You can probably call doctors / hospital
s / 1-800 numbers to find out more info (in addition to google, of course)
Option 3: travel insurance - but I doubt they will cover preexisting conditi
ons
