I do needlework...
My favorite is crossstich. I'm kind of addicted to it and cannot stop.
I do it while watching TV, so I always have an ongoing project.
The next project I want to do is one of those mirabilia fairies.
The second is crochet. My ex-roommate gave me some patterns. They
are in Germany, but language doesn't matter. Seems like the whole world
use the same note except America.
Knitting is fun but it is too warm for thick sweater here. I guess I need
some motivation to start.

I have some more finished that are not framed yet. I also gave
some to friends as gifts.
I'm afraid I'm gonna be blind eventualy. :(

我刚刚开始学，一下子就特别喜欢，好像找到了自己的最爱一样。
完成了一个小的。还有一个正在做。
不知道前辈的这些pattern都是哪里买到的，有没有什么好的网站买这些东西？是买kit好
，还是自己配线好呢？

好精致的绣品!
觉得有几幅的图案跟十年前国内流行的mini卡片上的很相似. 怎么看怎么cute啊.

From Wal-Mart, Joann and Michaels local stores or ebay.
I perfer patterns because they are cheaper. If you have time,
check out stores' clearance section every time you go. I found
a very good deal on kit from there, but only once.
Ebay is the best place. I bought patterns, needles and fabric
from there.

What do you mean by 配线? Each floss has a number, we don't need
to 配 at all. Do you mean where to buy those floss? Wal-Mart has
most of them. Michaels or Joann have more.
There is a fabric store here called hancock fabrics. I haven't seen
one floss that I couldn't find there. The website is
http://www.hancockfabrics.com/
If you cannot find a local store in your area, there must be some
other stores. Ask people in local Joann or Michaels.
You may have already known, DMC floss is better. They have

我最近买的一次的线就没有号，是一包十几种颜色，因为便宜我就买了。呵呵，看来我还
需要多看几家。

Those are not DMC floss. If you need more floss in the middle
of a project, it would be very hard to match the color you used before.
The DMC floss should be about 25c to 30c each, not very expensive.
shop locator in http://www.dmc-usa.com/ may help you find some
more stores.
Are you sure the wal-mart in your area does not have DMC floss? I've
never seen a war-mart like that. Even the wal-mart in Alaska has
DMC floss. Maybe you didn't find the right place?

我知道的一家怎么去的wal－mart烂极了，那些线就像几百年没人用过似的。我可不想买
。还有那些pattern什么的东一块西一块的。好多口袋都开了，谁知道东西还都在不在。
