absolutely agree. the juding is soooooooooooo selective. they pick the jive
apart on the technique and chemistry and say no word on multiple serious mis-
connection and steps in the waltz.
of course the waltz is better than quickstep because it's pretty much a
contemporary in disguise. the lines are absolutely beautiful but not much
waltz movement at all

donyelle was a little weak in the broadway routine, but pretty good in hip hop

yes, the afro-pop routine was good so the dancers got lucky. it's really
unfair for some to get better choreography than others. but it's tv, and
fairness does not come into the discussion anyway

That is smooth waltz. Based on your explanation of smooth, they used more non-
waltz technique (contemp. in this case) than waltz tech in this routine.
